Stephanie Lebal, a self-taught artist from Brillion, Wisconsin, discovered her passion for art at a young age in Ohio, often praised as an art prodigy despite no formal training. A lifelong animal lover, she enjoyed summers at her grandparents’ lakeside cottage and caring for animals. Although she paused her art to pursue nursing— graduating at the top of her class—her career was cut short after a disabling farm accident. After regaining mobility, she followed her dream of becoming an illustrator.

In 2023, her illustrations debuted in Randy the Raccoon by Michael Roger Reese, who discovered her hyperrealistic, detailed artwork online. Today, Stephanie uses her art not only to create but also to support charitable causes, combining her passions for creativity and helping others.
