Lucia Duarte, a Portuguese photographer born in 1966, discovered her essence and poetry in photography. Trained in Germany, her sensitivity captures the invisible, revealing the hidden magic of everyday life. Through exhibitions and book publications, she shares her poetic vision on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, unveiling ethereal stories in each image.
As an artist, my work explores the boundaries between light and emotion, revealing hidden layers of perception. In the series Transmutation of Feelings, each photograph serves as a portal to a distinct state of spirit, weaving a tapestry of profound emotions through themes like Lightborn, Rebirth, and Ignition. Utilizing long exposures and dynamic movement, I transform fleeting memories into abstract yet tangible realities, capturing the subtle dance of light. My relentless pursuit is to grasp the essence of what transcends the visible, inviting the viewer to unveil the invisible.
