Laura Bernardeschi

Laura Bernardeschi, known as lauraartist68, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne, after 11 years in London and Bristol. She began painting in 2017 to cope with the anxiety of her life as a model and actress. Initially experimenting with watercolors, she soon shifted to acrylics, inspired by nature and artists like Caravaggio, Van Gogh, and Picasso.

For Laura, art is a means to confront mental health issues and address social and environmental themes. Her work, often self- portraits of resilient women, also invites reflection on climate change. In recent years, she has exhibited nationally and internationally, showing her dedication to her craft.
